"In the Kingship of Christ is found your motivation for sanctity. You belong to Him because through Him you
were created and by Him you were redeemed. Thus you must live your life entirely for Him; He must be the very center
of your life. You acknowledge His Kingship over you by your
vows and by your daily living of them."
We commit ourselves to imitate Christ, chaste, poor and obedient. By our profession of vows we joyfully
give our Sovereign Lord all that we are, all that we have and all that we hope to be.
We reverence Christ as King in the Crib, on the Cross, in the Blessed Sacrament and Reigning in Heaven. |

You should have "a special love for the priesthood, for there is no Eucharist without the priest." We owe every priest
a
debt of gratitude for bringing the presence of Christ the King into our world. The greatest graces we have received from God
have come through the hands of a priest: he gives us divine life in Baptism; he feeds us in
the Eucharist; he binds up our wounds in
Penance. Awareness of this great mystery of the priesthood inspires for all priests and a special loyalty and affection for the Holy
Father, the Vicar of Christ. Knowing the sublime dignity and responsibility which is theirs, we pray for good and holy priests and
encourage priestly vocations. |

"The Eucharist must be the center, the summit and the source of our Christian lives. I
hope that this will especially be true of the School Sisters of Christ the King and you will be known by your
outstanding devotion to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament."
As active contemplatives we center our lives around our Eucharistic King. We strive to spend as much time as possible
with our Spouse enthroned in the tabernacle. Loving communion with Him is enkindled
by liturgical, communal and private
prayer. Our observances include:
- Daily celebration of the
Eucharistic Liturgy and the Liturgy
of the Hours
- Daily meditation, spiritual reading, the rosary, the Way of the Cross, and
examination of conscience
- Monthly days of recollection and annual eight-day retreat

"In the Kingship of Christ is also found the source of your zeal. He is the King of all mankind and
you must find your joy in spending yourself to bring others to Him."
As spouses of Christ, we desire what He desires - souls. We contribute to His mission of saving souls by our prayer
and sacrifice, our teaching apostolate and the promotion of missions. In our teaching we strive to provide excellence in
education as well as priceless formation of the soul. We hope to guide students to develop a personal relationship with
Christ and to serve Him by contributing to the welfare of mankind. All our efforts are marked by a fervent desire to spread
His Kingdom on earth - to make Christ the King of every heart. |

The School Sisters of Christ the King, "in the spirit of
St. Alphonsus, are devoted to the Passion
of the Lord, their crucified King, and have a special love for Mary, their Queen."
Our Savior suffered to redeem us. We seek to follow Him by accepting the crosses that come to us and through acts of self-denial.
By this we imitate our crucified King and make reparation for our sins and those of the world.
We look with confidence to Mary, our Queen Mother, for she hears our prayers and intercedes for us, knowing that her Son
can refuse her nothing. In return, we can pay her no greater honor than the imitation of her virtues, particularly her total love
of God, by which we are drawn more closely to her Son, Jesus. We strive to comfort our Spouse upon the Cross. |
